Please visit towns.k12.ga.us to remain informed. Be sure “pop-ups” are enabled on your web browser to see any announcements that may be posted.
The schools and district utilize an automated calling system to keep families informed. Calls are sent to the telephone number on file for your child. Should your contact information ever change, please update your child's school as soon as possible.
If school is cancelled or dismissed early, both the district website and the information line are updated. The information is also shared with local radio and TV/media for broadcast, and it is posted on the "Towns County School System" Facebook page.
It is important for your family to have a plan so your child knows what to do should school ever dismiss early.
